A multifunctional road boundary stone is provided to distinct between a footway and a roadway effectively and to improve the appearance of the city with flowering plants or trees. The multifunctional road boundary stone(100) for cultivating flowering plants is formed in the shape of a square column by coupling a sign board(150) to a body(110) provided with an inside space(112) to house soil, wherein drainagways(130) connecting from the inside space to the front surface of the body are formed on the front of the body to function as a passage for discharging water to the outside and inclined to be higher than the inside space to prevent the loss of soil filled in the inside space by a heavy rain and coupled with a front drain filter(132) to drain off water only, not soil.
