ELECTROPLATED DIAMOND WHEELS AND FABRICATING METHODS THEREFOR

Electroplated diamond wheels and a method for fabricating the electroplated diamond wheels are provided to improve productivity and to reduce fabricating costs by simplifying a fabricating process. An electroplated diamond wheel(100) is formed by fixing a diamond article as a coating layer to a grinding surface(111) of a body(110) of the electroplated diamond wheel. The method for fabricating the electroplated diamond wheels includes the steps of preparing the body, distributing the diamond article on the grinding surface on the body by using mesh network jig, and spreading nickel power on the grinding surface to form the coating layer for fixing the diamond article. The body is made of aluminum. Diameter of the nickel power is 5 through 50 mum. A thickness of the coating layer is formed by 50 through 300 mum. The thickness of the coating layer is 40 through 70 percentage of a size of the diamond article.
