An automatic balancing apparatus, a rotating apparatus, a disc driving apparatus, and a balancer are provided to optimally operate a magnet as a balancer a magnetic fluid attached to the magnet by generating an optimum magnetic field. An automatic balancing apparatus(10) includes a case(2) to receive a plurality of magnets(11) functioning as a balancer. The case has an upper opening. A cover(1) is located in the upper opening. A boss portion(2b) is formed at an inner center of a housing, and protruded upward. A moving path(14) is formed in a space between an outer wall and a side(2f) of the boss portion in the housing. The magnets moves through the moving path. A flange(2c) is formed on an upper surface of the boss portion. The flange is matched with a hole formed in the center of the cover. The cover and the case are made of material, which is not affected by the magnetism of the magnet, such as plastic, aluminum alloy, bronze alloy, and ceramics. |
