The device (8') has a metallic tube shaped injection nozzle (1') closed at an end (2') and partially situated inside a pipeline (5) in which gas i.e. hydrochloric acid, is circulated. The nozzle is open at its end that is supplied with liquid i.e. sodium hydroxide based solution. Circular exhaust orifices (3a-3d) are provided in a wall of the nozzle, where the orifices correspond to ends of cylindrical exhaust ducts (4a-4d) that are opened at both sides and extended perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the nozzle, at the interior of the nozzle. An independent claim is also included for a method of injecting liquid in a pipeline.
