A device and a method for transforming a WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) into an intermediate language are provided to perform a WIPI mobile platform and contents without correction by separating hardware and an operating system from an HAL(Handset Adaptation Layer) by the WIPI. A device for transforming a WIPI into an intermediate language includes a C/C++ compiler(20), an intermediate language assembler(30), a loader(40), and a memory(50). The C/C++ compiler(20) transforms a mobile platform source code which is developed by a C or C++ language into an intermediate language code which is requested from an interpreter of a mobile communication terminal. The intermediate language assembler(30) transforms a file of the intermediate language code into a file which is performed in the interpreter of the mobile communication terminal. The memory(50) stores a performing file of the intermediate language. The loader(40) transforms the performing file of the intermediate language to be stored in the memory(50).
