A method for fabricating a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) filter and a PDP filter fabricated by the same are provided to enhance electromagnetic wave shielding efficiency, visible ray transmittance, and process efficiency. A method for fabricating a PDP filter includes a process for forming a laminated structure with high refractive transparent layers(120,140) and metallic layers(130,150), and a process for forming an electromagnetic wave shielding layer by performing a thermal process for the laminated structure. The thermal process is performed at the temperature of 200 to 400 degrees centigrade. The thermal process is performed under vacuum, oxygen, or nitrogen atmosphere.
