摘要 A driving control device of an engine type forklift is provided to prevent the forklift from moving without the operation of a driver by letting a driver operate the stopped forklift again after moving a forward and reverse lever to a neutral position. The engine type forklift is composed of a forward and reverse lever(30) shifted to neutral, forward, and reverse positions according to the operation of a driver; a forward solenoid(50) excited according to the forward position of the forward and reverse lever; a reverse solenoid(52) excited according to the reverse position of the forward and reverse lever; and a transmission(10) engaged or released according to excitation and demagnetization of the forward and reverse solenoids to shift a gear of the forklift into a forward or reverse state. The driving control device of the forklift comprises a driver departure sensing unit(60) detecting whether a driver gets away from a driver's seat and a TCU(Transmission Control Unit,40) controlling the transmission in a neutral state by demagnetizing the forward and reverse solenoids, if a driver departure signal is input from the driver departure sensing unit.
