摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# Preparing a composition containing nanoparticles comprises: contacting a mixture comprising a dendrite structured compound and a metal precursor compound in a fluid so that the mixture will not be soluble in the fluid; and chemically transforming metal precursor compound in to the nanoparticle composition. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for: (1) a nanoparticle composition obtained by the process; and (2) a dendrite structure of formula (I). PEI : polyethylene imine; and n : 3-5. #CMT#[Image]#/CMT# #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The nanoparticle composition is useful as catalyst in organic synthesis, surface coating and as contrast agent for the medical imaging science (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The process is safe as the process makes use of nontoxic and non-inflammable carbon dioxide gas medium, is cost effective as the process makes the use of abundant sources, and is eco-friendly as the process obtains recyclable residue. The composition has excellent abrasion resistivity, optical selectivity and with stability against chemical attacks and environmental aggressions and good catalytic properties. #CMT#INORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The metal precursor compound is a precursor of metal, semiconductor materials or metallic oxides or nitrides. The precursor is a palladium or silver compound. The fluid comprises carbon dioxide. The precursor:dendrite structure molar ratio is 10:200. The particles have an average diameter of 1-nm to 1 mu m. Rf : optionally branched poly- or per-fluoro alkyl; and Alk : optionally branched 2-20C alkyl. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Process: The process further comprises the recovery of the composition. The process proceeds at 80-250[deg]C under 10-30 MPa. The chemical transformation is carried out by thermolysis, redox (preferred), sol-gel or solvo-thermal reaction. The redox reaction is carried out in the presence of hydrogen. Preferred Components: The dendrite structured compound is a hyperbranched polymer or a dendrimer, preferably poly(amidoamine), polyethylene-imines, poly(propyleneimine) or poly(propyleneimine) dotriacontaamine. Hydrophilic or hydrophobic molecules, preferably acid group of formula RfCOOH or AlkCOOH, polyoxyalkylene glycol or ethers modify the dendrite structured compound. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# A hyper branched polyethyleneimine (PEI) of formula (PEI-COCH 2(OCH 2CH 2) 3OCH 3) (100 mg) and palladium acetylacetonate (203 mg) were mixed in to a reactor containing hydrogen (0.4 MPa) and carbon dioxide (5 MPa). The obtained reaction mixture was heated at 100[deg]C under 15 MPa for 1 hour to give a palladium nanoparticle hydrophobic polyethyleneimine composition.</p>
