A method for controlling a multi-function peripheral is provided to easily perform various operations of the multi-function peripheral by using a work form which is previously set for each user. A method for controlling a multi-function peripheral which is connected to a server through a network to perform various operations includes a step of selecting one of work forms(S430), a step of transmitting the selected work form to the multi-function peripheral, and a step of performing a series of operations in the multi-function peripheral according to the transmitted work form(S450). The work forms respectively correspond to users who log on the network through the server and are previously stored. The work forms include information required for the series of operations performed in the multi-function peripheral.
