An air cleaner which creates a pleasant air environment by performing emission of an incense after air cleaning, minimizes the generation of ozone by using a dot discharge anode as a discharge anode of an anion generation part, and improves operating efficiency by allowing a pulse control part to control the operation of the anion generation part and a blowing fan in a predetermined time difference is provided. An air cleaner comprises: an air cleaner body(100) in which cleaning and incense emission are performed, and which is formed in a box shape; a filter body(120) removably installed in the air cleaner body; an anion generation part(110) mounted on the inner part of the air cleaner body to generate anions; a blowing fan(130) connected from the air cleaner body to the filter body and the anion generation part by a pipeline to blow and circulate cleaned air; a control part(140) for controlling the operation of the filter body and the anion generation part in a predetermined time difference according to a pollution level of the surrounding air; and a power source part for supplying a power source for operating the respective components, wherein the filter body includes a carbon filter and an incense plate, the anion generation part includes a boosting transformer part, a dot discharge anode(113), and an acicular discharge cathode(114), and the control part includes a pollution measuring sensor, a pulse control part, a blowing fan switch part, an anion switch part, a pollution level display part, an anion display part, and an operating panel(147).
