<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the photocatalytic activity of a light transmission member carrying a photocatalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This photocatalyst device (the light transmission member carrying the photocatalyst) 10 is provided with the transparent or semi-transparent light transmission member 100 consisting of plates or sheets of inorganic material and organic resin having a first surface 100a and a second surface 100b facing the first surface 100a, a film or sheet ultraviolet response-type photocatalyst 101 having an ultraviolet response-type photocatalyst arranged on the first surface 100a, and a visible light response-type photocatalyst 102 containing a visible light response-type photocatalyst arranged on the second surface 100b. The ultraviolet response-type photocatalyst 101 and the visible light response-type photocatalyst 102 arranged respectively on the first and second surfaces are exited by making the beam containing the ultraviolet and the visible light such as the sun light incident to the light transmission members carrying the photocatalyst 10 from the first surface side 100a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
