<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera wherein an antenna and a wireless communication module can efficiently be laid out. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes: a housing; a camera control section; a wireless communication module; and an antenna section. The housing includes a grip part in which a release button is arranged. The camera control section and the wireless communication module are housed in corresponding positions of the grip part in the housing.
