<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power unit for a vehicle which increases power generation efficiency with a low cost, by controlling an inverter unit by a control unit with an electric rotating machine in a manner as generating electric power as an altenator mode in a normal rotating speed range. <P>SOLUTION: The electric rotating machine 20 constitutes each phase coil of its armature winding 21 in 6 turns, an inverter 22 has a plurality of sets of a pair of switching elements 8 connected in series and diodes 9 connected in parallel to the switching element 8, a connection point of the switching element 8 connected in series is connected to the electric rotating machine 20. The control unit 24 turns OFF the switching element 8 in the point of time with a rotor rotating based on a rotational signal (f) from the electric rotating machine 20, to generate electric power in the alternator mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
