<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of attaining not image quality seen by human eyes but high image quality seen from the viewpoint of OCR (optical character reader) processing, and image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing part 10 for applying image processing to input image data recognizes that an OCR mode for outputting a print image presupposed that OCR processing is applied after an image output is designated and performs particular image processing effective for OCR processing instead of normal image processing in a controller 11 and an engine control part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
