PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting base for a ceiling alarm spoiling no external appearance in the case of unnecessity of wiring. SOLUTION: When a fire alarm 3 is not mounted and a fire alarm 3 is unnecessary for non-illustrated roof-space wiring for signal transmission to the other fire alarm 3 and an external device is mounted, an unnecessary lead wire 5e and connector 5f are not exposed to the outside of a mounting base 5 in order to maintain a sense of beauty so that the lead wire 5e and connector 5f are stored in a lead wire storing chamber 5d.
