PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce error in determination caused by difference in temperatures of a refrigerant at an outlet of a condenser in determining adequacy of refrigerant amount. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 comprises a refrigerant circuit 10, an operation control means, and a refrigerant amount determining means. The refrigerant circuit 10 is constituted by connecting a compressor 21, an outdoor heat exchanger 23, a supercooler 25, indoor expansion valves 41, 51 and indoor heat exchangers 42, 52. The operation control means can perform a refrigerant amount determining operation for controlling a capacity of the supercooler 25 to keep a constant temperature of the refrigerant distributed from the supercooler 25 to the indoor expansion valves 41, 51. The refrigerant amount determining means determines the adequacy of refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit 10 on the basis of the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circuit 10 in the refrigerant amount determining operation or an operation state quantity of a constitutional apparatus.
