PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing container in which objects such as tools can comparatively easily be inserted and held by a large holding force. SOLUTION: This housing container is equipped with a protective cap 7 which can be attached to a base 1, and can hold bar-like clamping objects such as tools, utensils and others while clamping them at one end each. The base 1 is equipped with a holder section 4 having at least one elastically deformable clamping jaw 5. The clamping jaw 5 forms a clamping cylinder section 6 in which the clamping objects can be inserted by itself or by cooperating with other members. By fitting the protective cap 7, the clamping jaw 5 constituting the clamping cylinder section 6 is deformed inward, and the shaft 3 of a tool 2 is firmly tightened from the periphery and clamped. Since the clamping cylinder section 6 is not contracted before the cap 7 is fitted, the shaft 3 of the tool 2 can easily be inserted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
