PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dipping-type membrane module which is used in a dipping-type membrane separation device, the module being easily lifted from the inside of a clarification tank so as to improve efficiency in maintenance and management work. SOLUTION: When the membrane module 11 is detached from a clarification tank 21, a height difference pressure is added to filtrate in the membrane module 11 whose surface is higher than the surface of a liquid to be treated in the clarification tank 21 by keeping a first pipe 113, which opens to an atmosphere, connected to a conductive hole 111 at the upper part of the membrane module 11. Consequently, the filtrate is discharged in a short time from a second pipe 114 connected to a conductive hole 112 at the lower part of the membrane module 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
