PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc melting furnace device provided with a melting furnace of melting a metallic material, where the stirring operation of a metallic material is performed more efficiently than the conventional case to allow uniform alloying and, the yield of a molding can be improved upon molding on a mold; and to provide the mold used for the melting furnace. SOLUTION: In a melting furnace device 100 where a melting furnace 6 is formed by a water-cooled mold mounted with the mold 30, a melting chamber 20 whose lower side is tightly stuck to the water-cooled mold so as to be a sealed vessel, and an energy heat source melting a metallic material on the water-cooled mold, a frame 5 to which the melting furnace 6 is fitted and provided so as to be freely tiltable at least in the longitudinal and cross directions, and a handle part 8 provided to the frame 5 are provided. The melting furnace 6 fitted to the frame 5 is swung by the operation of the handle part 8 by an operator.
