PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy field weeds and weed seeds collecting and treating machine provided with a paddy float usable in shallow area reducing traction, smoothly and effectively carrying out weeds and weed seeds collecting and treating work in a paddy field. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with a mat like sliding float 1. The float is provided with an easy mounting cartridge type treating bag 7 detachably mounted on an intake port 2 and the opening/closing operation of the bag is carried out by a clip 7b. A wire 7d is built in the bag to keep the bag not to be buried under water surface and to retain hollowness and ventilation. A sliding sheet 7g is installed on the bottom part, and a water permeating sheet 7f is used on the upper part of the same as the two surfaces so to keep easy sliding even increasing the weight of the bag 7 by collecting weeds and weed seeds. In the alternative method, an assistant sliding sheet is provided 8 directly under the bag and mounted on the same.
