<p>A storage apparatus which comprises: a silo (1) for storing resin pellets therein; a standard-product passageway (2) through which low-contaminant-content resin pellets held above around the lowermost part of the silo (1) are discharged as a standard product from the silo (1); and a nonstandard-product passageway (3) through which high-contaminant-content resin pellets residing around the lowermost part of the silo (1) are discharged as a nonstandard product from the silo (1). Due to the constitution, the resin pellets having a high contaminant content which should be treated as a nonstandard product are clearly separated within the silo and discharged. Thus, the standard product can be reduced in contaminant content. Additionally, since nonstandard products are discharged through the separate passageway, contamination of downstream apparatuses is avoided.</p> |
