The invention relates to a programmable apparatus for measuring and welding adjustable brackets, which can be used for the electrical spot welding or welding of elements of an adjustable bracket with great precision, such as to adjust or programme the information that is to be incorporated into the bracket in terms of inclination, angle and rotation. Two attachments have been developed for said purpose, namely: a position measuring attachment and a welding attachment. The position measuring attachment is used to record or measure the exact dental position in terms of inclination, angle and rotation in study models. Said measurement is taken using a system of templates which can be used to record the position of a tooth in relation to the osseous bases thereof and the occlusal plane. The welding attachment is innovative in that it can be used to weld the elements of an adjustable bracket (the base and the body) in a precise manner, such that, using three fine graduation systems (in the three spatial planes), it can adjust or programme the information to be incorporated into the bracket in terms of inclination, angle and rotation.
