<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of properly correcting a frequency deviation in a subordinate device without making the processing load heavier and coping with a further increase in a transmission capacity of a downlink path and to provide a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A host device 1 measures the frequency deviation from a received signal through an uplink path, multiplexes frequency deviation information on a transmission signal of the downlink path as control information, and transmits the multiplexed signal, the subordinate device 2 detects the frequency deviation information multiplexed on the transmission signal through the downlink path, and corrects the frequency deviation of the received signal through the downlink path. Thus, it is not required to execute a huge amount of signal processes for enhancing the measurement accuracy of the frequency deviation and the processing load imposed on the subordinate device 2 can be relieved. Further, it is possible to accurately correct the frequency deviation, transmission errors even in a multi-value modulation such as the 64QAM can be suppressed, and the system can easily cope with even an increase in the transmission capacity. Moreover, since the subordinate device 2 needs no frequency measurement section for measuring the frequency deviation, downsizing, weight reduction and power saving can be attained for the subordinate device 2 by that much. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
