<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium 20 wherein a first information recording layer A1 has both high transmittance and satisfactory recording characteristics by specifying a content A of a main component and a film thickness d of a heat adjusting layer 6 which constitutes the first information recording layer A1 in suitable ranges and thereby irradiation power of a second information recording layer A2 with laser light in recording and reproduction can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium 20 having the first information recording layer A1 stacked on a first substrate 1, an intermediate transparent layer 8, the second information recording layer A2 and a second substrate 13, the heat adjusting layer 6 which constitutes the first information recording layer A1 contains at least one of Si and Al, its content A is in the range of 50 at%≤A≤60 At% by an atomic fraction and the film thickness d of the heat adjusting layer 6 is specified to be in the range of 0<(d×n)≤(1/16)λ when the wavelength of the irradiation laser light and the refractive index of the heat adjusting layer are defined as λ and n, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
