<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prvide a device/a method which can certainly switch a sensor light source at a register control device of a printing machine. <P>SOLUTION: This sensor light source selection-type register control device comprises the following components: (1) a register mark information acquisition means which acquires register mark information including reigster mark arrangement information and reference register mark printing color information, (2) a light source color specification information generation means which generates light source color specification information including printing unit identification information from the register mark information, (3) a light source means which emits a light of a different light source color, (4) a light source selection means which selects one light source from the light source means, accepting the light source color specification information, (5) a detection means which outputs data on an amount of reflected light by detecting an amount of reflected light from a register mark of the light source means, (6) a register mark detection means which makes out register mark detection data including a time lag between two register mark detection times from data on two pieces of data on the amount of reflected light, and (7) a means for making out printing unit control data which controls the compensation of a printing misregister from the register mark detection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
