<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail type fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, for actualizing the suitability of a fuel injection rate to reduce the level of nitrogen oxide. <P>SOLUTION: A stroke control type injector is connected to the front side of a three-port and two-position selector valve 4, or a pressure control type injector is connected to the front side of a three-port and two-position selector valve 4 followed by a two-port and two-position selector valve 6. Thus, a small amount of fuel is injected to the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine with low pressure at starting fuel injection to actualize the suitability of a fuel injection rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
