<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the material used in a packaging member to save resources and mitigate the load on a public recycle system by preventing troubles caused by a fall accident during distribution even when using the packaging member smaller than the conventional or a bag-like packaging sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus composed of a mechanical section holding functions of paper supply, conveyance, image formation, fixation, and so forth and a plurality of exterior components constituting the appearance of the product attached to the mechanical section; a coupling section between the mechanical section and the exterior components is composed of a plurality of positioning means and an impact absorbing mechanism placed at an intermediate position between the positioning means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
