<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further achieve miniaturization in a tandem type image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10 has a plurality of image formation units 48 juxtaposed along a belt arranged obliquely in a horizontal direction. Each image formation unit 48 has a photoreceptor 52 arranged facing the belt, and an exposure device 56 forming a latent image on the photoreceptor 52. The exposure device 56 is composed of, for instance, LED, and secures an optical path by unitizing the exposure device 56 together with the photoreceptor 52 and to achieve miniaturization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
