<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of properly specifying a destination. <P>SOLUTION: The facsimile machine has a registration means for registering a transmission destination in an address book inside equipment. The facsimile machine is equipped with a registration means for making an identical number input twice when registering a facsimile number, and for registering the input number as the facsimile number if the first time input number corresponds with the second time input number.
