<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in gas barrier properties and adhesion with a thermoplastic resin layer, and to provide an aqueous coating liquid using the resin composition, the coating liquid having low foamability and high anti-foaming properties. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a water soluble polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) having a 1,2-diol structural unit represented by general formula (1) and a water-swellable layered inorganic compound (B), wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an organic group; X represents a single bond or a chain link; and R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an organic group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
