摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery controller, with which not only a longer service life of a battery is attained, but also the differences in the times for usage of equipment, accompanying switching of charging capacity can be predicted and maintainability of the equipment is improved, by constituting such that the charging capacity of the battery is readily switched by the user. SOLUTION: The charging amount of a battery cell 21 is constituted so that the amount is switched at least to two stages of a full-charging mode and an intermediate-charging mode by a charge amount switching switch 5. When the mode is in the full-charging mode and external power supply is connected; and if remaining capacity of the battery cell is V1 or lower which is lower than a full charged amount, the cell is charged up to the fully charged amount; while when the mode is in the intermediate-charging mode and the external power supply is connected, and if the remained capacity is V2 or larger of the intermediately charged amount which is lower than V1, electric power is supplied to a computer 4 from the battery cell; and while if the amount is lower than V2, power is supplied from the external power supply, and the cell is charged, when the remaining capacity becomes V3 or lower, which is lower than V2.
