PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an image-switching apparatus with a small number of circuits, and to selectively use the circuits without waste, according to the change of use. SOLUTION: An image processing part of the image switching apparatus includes main circuit blocks 5a, 5b, and 6 and sub circuit blocks 5d, 5e, and 7. An operation part of the apparatus has a means of specifying either the main circuit block or the sub circuit block or both. When the main circuit block is specified, the operation part sends a signal which instructs operation of the main circuit block, and when the sub circuit block is specified, the operation part sends a signal which instructs operations of the sub circuit block.
