PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high diagnostic efficiency in ultrasonic diagnosing. SOLUTION: A high luminance extraction image H1 is generated by extracting pixels whose luminance value is equal to or higher than a first luminance value in a slice image, and a low luminance extraction image L1 is generated by extracting the pixels whose luminance value is equal to or lower than a second luminance value lower than the first luminance value in the slice image. Then, a composite image CP is generated by positioning and combining the high luminance extraction image H1 and the low luminance extraction image L1 so as to correspond to positions in the slice image.
