PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger transport device, on which a person with visual impairment can board more safely. SOLUTION: When a surface containing a boarding surface 21 is a first surface PL1, a surface containing the outer surface 28 of a conveyor belt 22 on a front side of the boarding surface 21 in the conveying direction is a second surface PL2 and a surface containing a ridge part 52 of comb teeth 46 of a comb plate 26 is a third surface PL3, the second surface PL2 and the third surface PL3 form a recessed part SP1 having a length L1 and a depth Dm in relation to the first surface PL1.
