PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise display case which is excellent in workability when displaying merchandise by hanging and further eliminate the need for an excessive packing volume when packing by stacking a large number of merchandise. SOLUTION: A hanger piece storing recess section 7 the upper end part of which is opened is provided in the back plate 5 of the case 1 and a guide groove 8 of the up-and-down direction of which the upper edge is blocked is provided in both right and left side faces of this storing recess 7. The hanging piece 3 having a suspension hole 12 and an engaging section 13 which engages to the guide groove 8 is stored slidably in the up-and-down direction with a predetermined slide range in the storing recess 7. The suspension hole 2 of the hanging piece 3 is made to project from the upper edge of the case 1 in a condition in which this hanging piece 3 is pulled up to the upper end of the storing recess. It is possible to display the merchandise display case by hanging by penetrating a projecting suspension hole 12 through a hanging rod 30 such as a merchandise display stand.
