PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of being fully delivered to a subcutaneous tissue and indicating a satisfactory immune response independently of an antigen molecule when externally administering a high-molecular antigen such as a polynucleotide, peptide antigen, protein-based vaccine by iontophoresis. SOLUTION: The iontophoresis device to enhance antigen recognition capability of the antigen comprises an antigen pooling tank to pool the antigen presented to the skin and an electrode to apply electrostimulation for activating Langerhans cells and enhancing the antigen recognition capability, which allows application of an electrostimulation current density appropriate for activating the Langerhans cells.
