PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation part provided with a highly operable cruise control function for a driver. SOLUTION: In the shift device 10, a shift gate 15 is constituted such that it includes a first gate 15a for moving a shift lever 16 to a switching position for vehicle traveling including a retreating position, a neutral position and an advancement position when the connection state of a transmission is switched; and a third gate 15c and a fourth gate 15d for moving the shift lever 16 to a switching position for a cruise control mode when the cruise control mode for driving and braking the vehicle is used so as to make a vehicle speed of the vehicle coincident with a target speed. The first gate 15a and the third gate 15c and the fourth gate 15d are connected by a second gate 15b such that the shift lever 16 can be moved between both gates. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
