PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small article storage device capable of enhancing not only the convenience but also the appearance of a glove compartment while maintaining the holdability for a beverage container. SOLUTION: A partition 3 is arranged on arc-shaped slide parts 47, 47 formed on brackets 41, 41 of a lid member 4 mounted on a second storage part 2. When turning the lid member 4, the slide parts 47, 47 are turned while avoiding the abutting on ear shaft parts 31, 31 of the partition plate 3, and any interlocking action of the partition plate 3 by the opening/closing operation of the lid member 4 can be prevented.
