PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter cluster mounting device in a automobile capable of reliably preventing occurrence of any play in a meter cluster when mounting the meter cluster on a mounting seat formed on an instrument panel, and maintaining excellent appearance of a cabin even when mounting the meter cluster on an upper portion of the instrument panel. SOLUTION: A mounting seat 13 is formed on an instrument panel 9 provided on a front end of a cabin 3. A mounting tool 16 capable of mounting a meter cluster 15 for accommodating a meter 14 on the mounting seat 13 is provided. At least a rear portion of the mounting seat 13 is formed so as to extend in a substantially horizontal direction. The mounting tool 16 has a locking tool 30 for locking a front portion of the meter cluster 15 located on the mounting seat 13 to a front portion of the mounting seat 13, and an engaging tool 32 for pressing the rear portion of the meter cluster 15 against an upper face of the mounting seat 13 by engaging the rear portion of the meter cluster 15 with the mounting seat 13 associated with the locking operation by the locking tool 30.
