<p>The present invention describes a solution based on software together with hardware for digital control of a loudspeaker based on feedback from a current sensor, which replaces the existing analog technology, improves the frequency response and improves the controllability over the distortion. This method solves problems with temperature sensitivity and resonant behavior. It also opens up for new combinations of digital tools to be integrated to the system, such as digital crossover networks, digital pre-compensation and digital room correction, this to achieve a better overall sound reproduction. It also solves problems with control systems based on electrical components, which might drift away with temperature and age. It can further on be made more user friendly when used together with a graphical user interface interacting with the hardware and software in real-time.</p> |
