PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry fog generator suitable for a waiting room and a patient's room of a hospital, a nursing home, a laboratory of a research institute, a commercial kitchen and the like, for sterilizing or sanitizing floating fungus in a space by nebulizing and emitting a chemical which does not have a harmful effect on a human body such as a hypochlorite solution in an atmosphere, and suppressing a rise in humidity in accordance with mist (fog) generation. SOLUTION: A high pressure solution is fed to a nozzle 4 on a tip through a feed-water pipe 3 by a pump 2 from a water tank 1 in which the chemical such as hypochlorite solution is mixed is sprayed from the nozzle on the tip to the upper part of the inside of an atomization chamber 5, and filtered and nebulized by transmitting a fine mesh plate 6 arranged before the spraying nozzle. Liquid which is not nebulized is fallen as water drops and drained from a drainage port 9. Nebulized mist is fed in a spraying port direction by the pressure of an outdoor air taken from an air intake port 7 formed at the atomization chamber, and a dry fog material of which the humidity is eliminated approximately more than 90% is emitted from a blowout port 8.
