PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress by a simple configuration malfunction and failure which are brought about to a sensor installed in an ink cartridge because of dust, ink mist by ink delivering, etc. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 21 comprises a cartridge body 31 which stores ink, the sensor 35 which outputs an electrical signal according to a quantity of the ink, a cover member 33 which is fixed to the cartridge body 31 and covers at least a part of the sensor 35, and a substrate 32 fixed to the cover member 33 and with a terminal 32d which outputs the electrical signal from the sensor 35.
