PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic finish coating composition for interior use which is excellently applied, for example, by troweling or spraying, can attain sufficient strength when cold-set, does not suffer from crazing because of reduced drying shrinkage, has good moisture absorption and release properties as well as excellent heat resistance and fire resistance, and does not emit indoor pollutants such as VOCs. SOLUTION: The finish coating composition is one comprising fired diatomaceous earth, clay, aggregate, portland cement, gypsum plaster, dolomite plaster, an expansive cement admixture, and paste, wherein 50 to 140 pts.wt. aggregate and 7 to 40 pts.wt. portland cement are used per 100 pts.wt. total of fired diatomaceous earth and clay, and 1 to 4 pts.wt. paste is used per 100 pts.wt. portland cement.
