PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus advantageous for reducing the cost, stabilizing the operation of an imaging element, and preventing unwanted radiation. SOLUTION: A holder 82 is formed of a material excellent in thermal conductivity, and a portion of the holder 82 facing the rear surface 1804 of an image sensor 18 is a heat transmission part 82A touching the rear surface 1804 of the image sensor 18. A heat transmission member 84 is disposed on the rear surface of the heat transmission part 82A located oppositely to the surface of the heat transmission part 82A touching the rear surface 1804 of the image sensor 18. The heat transmission member 84 is formed of a material excellent in thermal conductivity and exhibiting insulation properties and elasticity. A pushing plate 86 pushes the heat transmission member 84 against the rear surface of the heat transmission part 82A. The pushing plate 86 is formed of a material excellent in thermal conductivity and exhibiting conductivity and elasticity, and clamped fixedly by a portion 1702 of a stay 17 and a heat dissipation plate 90 while being held by an elastic material 87.
