PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camcorder capable of solving the problem that it is difficult to confirm whether a camcorder is in a photographing state or in a stopping state because a subject has a difficulty in confirming a tally lamp when the subject at a distant place is photographed with the camcorder having a high magnification factor zooming function. SOLUTION: A strobe equipped on the camcorder is used. The strobe is flashed once when photographing starts, and is continuously flashed twice when the photographing is finished.
