PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning article capable of easily scraping out the dust accumulated in a corner part, easily scraping off the dust adhering to the surface to be cleaned, and being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The cleaning article 10 of this embodiment comprises a pair of flat and tubular handle insertion parts 15 and 15 with a pair of fiber layers 11b and 11c made of fiber bundles. A handle 20 can be attached to the cleaning article by inserting the handle 20 into the pair of handle insertion parts 15 and 15. The fiber bundles are formed of thermo-fusible fiber, and the pair of the fiber layers 11b and 11c are partially fused by the fusion of the thermo-fusible fiber. The fused parts P of the pair of fiber layers 11b and 11c in the pair of the handle insertion parts 15 and 15 are jointed with each other at three joint parts 16a, 16b and 16c extending in the direction of insertion of the handle 20.
