A lighting device (10) contains one or more LEDs and is of low-profile, being suitable for location on a wall without needing to be recessed into the wall. Electrical connections between the lighting device and the power source are made using ribbon (15) cable exiting via an opening (35) in the side of the device, and lying flush with its base (24). The device can thus be fitted directly onto the wall without the need for access from behind. |
