A spray device for a particulate material recovery system is disclosed which has a spray nozzle (104) having a spray aperture (106). A plate (110) is mounted for movement from a first position which allows fluid to be sprayed from the aperture (106) to a second position away from the aperture (106) so that the nozzle (104) can be flushed to remove any blockage. The plate (110) is biased by a spring (120) towards the first position and is moved by an air head (134) and a striker plate (130) from the first position to the second position.
