A cylindrical projection (10) exceeds from each of two halves (3) forming the joint element (1) and can be inserted into a space (11) at the upper ends of two carrying arms (2) to be connected. The parts (3) are pressed together by an arrangement of two cup springs (7), a cap (12), and a pin (4) positioned between them and guided through the joint elements (3). A lever (5,8) is attached to the opposite end of the pin (4) and can be used for increasing or reducing the forces acting on the joint elements (3).
