A MgB2 SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE OR STRIP CONTAINNING C AND THE MANUFACTURE METHOD THEREOF

A MgB<SUB>2</SUB> superconducting wire or strip containing C and the manufacture method for it, in which the said superconducting material is substantially consisted of Mg, B and C. Its chemical formula is MgB<SUB>2-x</SUB>C<SUB>x </SUB>, where x is a value between 1 and 2, y is a value between 0 and 1, and the sum of x and y is greater than 1.5. The MgB<SUB>2</SUB> superconducting wire or strip in the present application has a high irreversible field and the property of critical current density is very excellent, and it has good repeatability.
